General Payment Policy

Ø      If you are a customer then following applies. A customer is a person who has either registered as Customer or has initiated a service request.

o       If the work is divisible in multiple phases

§         Tentative sequence in which phases will be executed will be notified.

§         Tentative estimate is conveyed and acceptance is sought.

§         If you agree then the next phase to be executed from the sequence is estimated for in detail and a fixed or tentative price is conveyed along with the scope of work to be covered in the phase. Since these figures are produced after detailed study, it might differ from the tentative estimate figure of the previous step. Your acceptance is sought again.

§         If you agree to the scope and price then you need to pay the amount in advance for that phase.

§         The amount will then remain blocked with us until work for the phase is accepted or rejected. The different conditions that may arise after this are mentioned below in the document.

o       If the work can be done in a single shot

§         Fixed or tentative price estimates are conveyed along with scope of work.

§         If agreed, the amount is paid by you and will remain blocked until your acceptance or rejection

o       Following conditions may arise after you have paid for the work or one (or multiple) of its phases.

§         No work is offered yet to any online associate and you decided to cancel the service request

·        CCS will refund 100% (less any refund charges applicable by payment channel).

§         Deliverables are getting worked upon and are not yet started to get reviewed internally and you decided to cancel the request

·        CCS will keep 10% of the blocked amount and return the rest (less any refund charges applicable by payment channel)

§         Deliverables are getting worked upon but we failed to create those deliverables and notified You of the situation by email.

·        We will refund 100% (less any refund charges applicable by payment channel)

·        You will not hold the Website responsible for this and will not penalize extra.

§         Deliverables are under internal review and you decided to cancel the request

·        CCS will keep 15% of the blocked amount and return the rest (less any refund charges applicable by payment channel)

§         Deliverables have cleared the internal review process and are found fit to be delivered and you decided to cancel the request

·        CCS will keep 20% of the blocked amount and return the rest (less any refund charges applicable by payment channel)

§         Deliverables have cleared the internal review process but could not clear review at your end

·        CCS will keep 20% of the blocked amount and return the rest (less any refund charges applicable by payment channel)

·        You agree to delete all the deliverables that we have sent for your review and not put them to business or personal use until 100% payment is cleared.

§         Deliverables have cleared the internal review process as well as your review process

·        CCS will keep 100% of the blocked amount.

o       In case you wish to cancel the service request, please send an email to us at 'support@econcinnity.com'. We shall shortly provide a means to notify cancellations, online.

o       CCS may provide electronic mechanisms to accept or decline deliverables according to the type of work. You agree to accept those mechanisms as a means to show your acceptance or decline. Your acceptance would mean that the deliverables have cleared the review processes at your end as well.

o       If there are multiple phases, each phase may have separate review process and the corresponding acceptance and rejection mechanisms.

o       Currently approved refund payment channel is through Paypal. You agree that you will create an account with Paypal to accept refunds and You will not hold the Website responsible for any 'no refund' situation if you could not open an account with Paypal.

o       In case we have blocked the tentative amount in the start of the phase or work packet then You agree to pay the remaining in case the actual cost is more than tentative. You agree to pay this within a month of our payment notice. You also agree that the Website may refuse the delivery until the remaining payment is cleared. In case the Website has already delivered and then You agree to not put the deliverable to business or personal use until you have cleared the remaining payment.

o       In case we have notified the fixed price earlier and blocked it after your acceptance of estimate then you do not need to pay anything extra because the work will fall under fixed price category.

Ø      If you have registered as 'Online Associate' then following applies.

o       All Payments are made via Paypal.

o       Associates are required to register Paypal email addresses with us at the time of registration.

o       Payments will be made once in a month and in the first week (for the previous month's work).

o       For each piece of work submitted by associates, credits are calculated for and accumulated in their Service credit accounts.

o       The service credits are then used to calculate the earnings from various sources as described below.

o       For a few services, it is important for us to make multiple people work on the same piece of work in parallel to get best quality. If such is the case then at the time work is aggregated for, the mean measure of submitted work is calculated (mean calculation may not be possible for all work types) followed by the calculation of deviation from mean, for each associate who participated. People who are close to the mean are paid the most. An amount equal to deviation %age is deducted from associate earnings. More you deviate, more you loose.

§          This feature is our check that experienced people get paid most.

§         If 5 people work on a piece in parallel but independently, the mean value of aggregated work will tend to be closer to the work submitted by experienced lot and hence they get paid more. Less experienced people will tend to deviate away. More they deviate, less they earn.

§         People working on a piece may not know what other people are submitting so their submission will be unbiased.

o       20% of earnings made by each associate are retained by us as standard deduction. 80% is paid via Paypal.

o       Additionally, Paypal charges (2% currently (subject to change)) are deducted from 80%. So effectively, associates get 78.4% of what they have earned through us (mean deviation deductions as described above are deducted additionally from 78.4%).

o       There are two sources of earnings for associates at the moment

§         Ad-Share

·        Ad revenues generated by site each month is shared among associates in the same proportions as their credits. An eg,

o       Associates Service Credits (in a month)

§          Associate 1 - 50 $

§          Associate 2 - 70 $

§          Associate 3 - 80 $

o       Site Ad Earnings (in the month)

§          2000 $

o       Associate Ad-Share Earnings

§          Associate 1 - 2000 * 50 /(50 + 70 + 80) * 0.784 = 392 $ (Deductions for work mean deviation is not shown here)

§          Associate 2 - 2000 * 70 / (50 + 70 + 80) * 0.784 = 548.8 $ (Deductions for work mean deviation is not shown here)

§          Associate 3 - 2000 * 80 / (50 + 70 + 80) * 0.784 = 627.2 $ (Deductions for work mean deviation is not shown here)

o       The Website retains

§          400 $ (20% of 2000$)

o       Charges paid to Paypal (Above figures are shown after deducting this portion)

§          Associate 1 - 8 $

§          Associate 2 - 11.2 $

§          Associate 3 -  12.8 $

§         Estimation Payment Policy

Ø      If you have registered with us as 'Affiliates' then following applies.

o       All Payments are made via Paypal if you have joined our affiliate program directly.

o       If you have joined us through an affiliate network then we will forward your earnings to your parent network, who, in turn would pay to you. Moreover, the commission rates paid will be reduced according to the following formulae.

X = % commission rates paid to a direct affiliate

Y = additional charge levied by the affiliate network (% of commission paid to an affiliate)

Z = actual commission rate paid to an indirect affiliate

Z = X / (1 + Y)

For e.g.,

If we pay 50% commission rates to a direct ACR affiliate then we would pay only 40% ACR rates to an indirect affiliate if his parent network has levied 25% additional charge (of what an affiliate gets) on us.

40% (indirect affiliate) = 50% (direct affiliate) / (1 + 0.25)

o       If you are joining us directly, please make sure that you register Paypal email address with us.

o       Payments will be made once in a month and in the first week (for the previous month's earnings).
